Wikot Website
Corporate Site & Portfolio for Wikot Technologies design agency.
2006
Wikot — a web design consultancy with offices in Caracas and Madrid — needed a corporate site that could showcase projects, clients, and news in a visually polished way while remaining easy to update as new work came in.
I designed and built the site entirely in Flash + PHP + XML, creating a dynamic portfolio that could be updated without code changes and extended with new sections on the fly.
A portfolio that updated itself from XML
The site's Flash front-end pulled all content from XML files through a PHP layer, meaning new projects, clients, and news items could be added without touching the Flash file. The architecture was designed so that entirely new sections could be added on the fly if the company expanded its service offering.
The portfolio showcase featured client work — McDonald's, Kraft Foods, AXN/Lost, Nestlé, Banco Provincial — with large visual previews and project details, all driven by the same XML data source.
