A Nokia project at Domus Academy's Master in Fashion Design explored the intersection of garments and technology — specifically, how clothing could embody movement, playfulness, and memory. The project needed videos that would open the presentation and immediately convey the garment's emotional qualities before the design details were shown.
I produced the presentation videos, focusing on capturing the qualities of movement, playfulness, and memories through visual storytelling that made the garment's concept tangible.
Movement, playfulness, and memory captured on video
The videos were designed as an emotional opening — establishing the feeling before the audience saw the garment. Rather than showing the product directly, the sequences evoked the sensory qualities the design was built around: the flow of movement, the spontaneity of play, and the intimacy of personal memory.
The production used close-up, textural footage and rhythmic editing to create a sensory bridge between the abstract design concepts and the physical garment that would be presented immediately after.
