I’m a User Experience, Interaction and Service Designer, with more than 15 years of experience.
My clients include Google, Cisco, PayPal, HP, Ericsson, Intel, AOL (Patch), BMW, British Gas, Microsoft, NewsCorp, Citibank, Pirelli, McDonalds, NetJets, Marks & Spencer, Sony Entertainment Television, HomeGoods
Born in Boston, MA. (US), I graduated from Architectural School in 1997 at the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas (VE). In December 1999 I obtained a MA in Design degree from Domus Academy (IT). My Master’s final project, a revolutionary pair of snowboard trousers for high-level competition were put into production the next year by Dainese, a worldwide leading company in protection-wear. I was hired by Domus Academy Research Center on July 2000, as Design Researcher. As such I created, designed and implemented, among a multidisciplinary group of professionals, interaction, cutting-edge interface and service design research projects for companies like Philips Design, Telecom Italia and Microsoft MSN.
I’ve worked in Caracas, Milan, Turin, London, Vienna and New York, for companies large (corporations) and small (startups), for products that ranged from enterprise to consumer. Some years ago I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I enjoy creating amazing digital products while spending my free time as a hobbyist photographer and an “internet of things” tinkerer-wannabe, but more importantly, as a lovely husband and a devoted father.
